What is a thermite reaction?
It is when Aluminum and Iron Oxide react together to create Aluminum Oxide and Iron. It's also an extremely exothermic reaction, which means it releases a lot of heat. A heat source of over 650 degrees Celsius is needed to trigger the reaction. The amount of heat produced is over 3000 degrees Celsius.
